The CFA Society of New Zealand is pleased to be able to offer scholarships for all three levels of the CFA Program (June 2010 examinations). Candidates who have previously applied for a scholarship or whose employers pay their fees are not eligible to apply. You do not have to be a member of the Society to be awarded a scholarship. The application and verification forms are attached below.
Key points to note with the application:
Your completed application must be received by 5pm on Friday, 22 January 2010. Applications received after this date will NOT be considered.
The scholarship does not cover US$225 for the enrolment fee; however, the CFA Society of New Zealand will cover this cost for those applicants who are awarded scholarships and pass the exam, after the exam results are published. So, for anybody who passes the exam, the scholarship is for the full refund of the registration and enrolment fee.
IMPORTANT: applications will be judged on the quality of the application in terms of your responses to the questions and also your academic record. Please attach a transcript of your degree. You are also encouraged to attach a resume.
