The title "2006/2007 New Zealand Forecaster of the Year" was awarded to Colin Nicholas at the Third Annual Forecast Dinner held on 1 November 2007 at the SkyCity Convention Centre, Auckland. Colin, a lecturer in engineering at the University of Auckland, was presented with his trophy, an engraved crystal ball on a glass plinth, and applauded at the dinner.
